Lingering by gabrielleabelle A nice, sparing touch, and a delicate hand with emotional registers. Poignant, and very satisfactory. Thanks. :) Sad, but true. I wanted it to work out, but this made actual sense. Blue Jo 03/03/2012 04:26 pm If I Could Beautiful, thank you. You are so refreshing and a joy to read. Thanks. 05/14/2010 11:30 am If I Could Sad ending, the magic photo was a very nice touch. laura 11/28/2008 12:53 pm If I Could I just read your whole story. I loved the ending. Was expecting it to be Spuffy but this was much better and appropriate. i very much like it, but you are going to make a secuel ..right?... pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee :) fangfaceandrea 11/27/2008 05:24 am If I Could Great story , bitersweet, but if felt right. Good resolution. Both are looking forward to their new lives. I'm glad you enjoyed. Thanks for reviewing! :) athena606 11/26/2008 11:38 pm If I Could that's so sad. What gonna happen to Wiliam and Buffy is all alone. is there a sequel planned? There's no sequel planned right now (I have another project I'm working on). The ending is open, though, so there's a definite possibility that I may write a sequel for it. :) :-) 05/14/2010 11:19 am Something That Will Not Let Go MMM cliffhangers r us. :-) 05/14/2010 11:09 am I'm Caught in You Why do I think this is going to turn out badly? Great chapter. What a wonderful way to move a relationship forward! And I liked the poetry also. I consider myself lucky that William is supposed to be a bad poet. ;) Oh, yeah with the budding Spikiness! :-) 05/14/2010 08:57 am Burning Like a Fever Inside You Very interesting William and Xander chat. Ah - Spike peeks out. Loving William's forays into the modern world and his unhappiness. :-) 05/14/2010 08:28 am I Know So Much I Will Forget Excellent chapter. :-) 05/14/2010 08:09 am I Am Here, Calling You Back Great xander and William scene and I loved how Buffy tries to taunt William into being Spike. i love the story, and buffy is a total bitch lol She gets better! Promise! Glad you're enjoying! :) :-) 05/14/2010 07:51 am Take Me Past This Lonely Truth Loved the shopping expedition. William is very sweet. Also, loved Buffy's reactions. sin_amatic 11/26/2008 07:00 am Take Me Past This Lonely Truth Great start. Love the idea, but poor dear sweet William. B needs to get off the pity pot and for a change take some _personal_ responsibility. I know it's all about the plot and no doubt there will be a real change of heart aka metamorphosis for this silly silly little girl. Would it be unkind to hope it's a painful transition? It's a novel approach concerning our little band of merri-makers I look forward to seeing how you weave and duck to make this new dilemia work itself out. Ta :) Eh, Buffy gets better. She's just missing Spike right now. I'm glad you're enjoying it. :) What a unique plot idea! I am enjoying this very much. Poor William adrift in a place where he is unwanted (and how typical for the poor fella). Hum.....two of him...the possibilities (sorry, I was distracted with the lovely thought). William is darling though and I loved this exchange: "Actually," William said. "Most gentlemen in my time don't wear corsets." That was just precious. I hope Buffy will give him a chance to become a friend even if she gets HER Spike back. Looking forward to seeing where you take this tale. Very well done thus far. Good voices, everyone acting in character and nice visuals (lost William in modern stores/restaurants). Kathleen I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. I actually have the fic posted in its entirety on my LJ, here, if you wanna go on and read ahead. I just hadn't thought of archiving it as I was posting it on there, so now I'm playing catch up. :) William coming to the future is a fun idea to play with, and it almost literally writes itself. Thanks so much for commenting. :) cas 11/24/2008 03:09 am Take Me Past This Lonely Truth Very good start! I can see it all so plainly. At least poor William is in England! And the old castle must not be too strange, except for all the modern appliances and stuff LOL! lol. True. He could have been in modern America. I think the culture shock there would have been too much for the guy. :) Thanks for commenting. :) Congratulations! You've been rec'd! Like the part where Buffy refuses to have anything to do with William. So glad to see that you're posting this fic here. It's absolutely brilliant. I read it over at LJ and fell in love with your writing. (I'm fangfan over there - really need to figure out how to change my user name here. *sigh*) Anyway, I'm hoping to see a lot more from you. Shamelessly begging for more here. :) :) I like to have my fics archived. I'm grateful that slaymesoftly's letting it post even though it doesn't have vamp!Spike. Interesting so far! Buffy's reaction to William is intriguing. Traditionally I think most fics would have her instantly throwing herself at him, so it'll be interesting to see how things progress considering how very much she wants nothing to do with him. Glad you're enjoying. Thanks for commenting. :) | |||
