Great story - I really like how you changed her night of love and sex with Angel and how you dealt with the separation theme between her series insistence that Angel and Angelus are totally different individuals.  Love your Spike and how you used Joyce and Giles.  All your characters were very much like those from the series which I think really added a lot to the power of your work.

This has been one of the best and most original 'VampBuffy' type fics I have ever read. I just love the way you've managed to keep everyone completely in character throughout. The best bit? The completely anticlimactic dusting of Angelus YAY!

This is really a good story - loved the plot and way you wrote the characters and how you tied them to their history in the series. Loved your quality of restraint while yet making things very exciting. One thing I would have liked, a little more explanation of Hank being a warlock and Travers knowing about the ritual and his plot to take it over. I also very much like the way you took out Angelus and left the Dru story still open.

Great addition to the fan fiction of The Buffyverse. And if a sequel ever comes about, that would be nice.

     Wow & wow! I'd wondered when/if I was going to run into a story that showed Buffy being Angel's rival for Spike instead of the usual all -males- after -Buffy fare. I'm quite pleased so far. I like your take on Giles, being so consumed with para-scientific curiosity that he barely has room in his soul for fear or horror .

Holy cow. Giles really enjoyed that. No more Angelus ... but XANDER as the one she is bound to? No fricking way!! I hope that Spike finds out about it and stops it. For one thing the Council is going to do the ritual the day before. The Scoobies are so screwed. Please have Spike be able to stop it and be the one she is bound to.

Loving this fic, It all seemed so exciting and promising at the start, only for it all to go so horribly wrong when the Council turns up - Hank definitely deserves death by papercuts and vinegar for this one.

This is really good! Love the way you can tell that Buffy and Spike belong together (with their demons reacting to each other) I usually don't like fics where Buffy is turned, but I like this one a lot! Although, she's not a vampire, but still.. =)

Wow and double wow! Just finished chapter nine of 'The Demon in Me' and this story just gets better and better. Huge Spuffy fan and I am enjoying this unique aspect of Buffy after being turned by Angelus. Reading about Buffy glowing like a firefly and her new horny inducing attribute is incredible. Especially seeing the latter attribute's effect on Spike. I can only think of this cliche regarding your next chapter...BRING IT ON!
