Wonderful definition of love! But OK a time shift occurred so that Spike would believe Buffy's statement when he came back?
What has changed in the past that would suggest that? If a time shift occurred, wouldn't that erase everything Amara did? She said nothing had needed to be changed in the past because Buffy already believed right? All the last snippet shows is that yes, Buffy did already believe. Think of it more as a flashback that shows her dreaming the events that happened to Spike. But is it just a dream?

A little bit confusing at times, but then I'm easily confused! ;)
A very nice conclusion leaving us believing that Spike is on his way to Buffy... even though he'll turn up in Rome and find it's not her... but that's another tale...

Chapter 1
It always seemed sad too me when Spike dismiss Harmony because she was an airhead/vampire. It's nothing new in the world of Joss, but I had hoped Spike would have championed her just a bit. (Seeing how he had to deal with such intolerance while he was evolving.)
