Can't give you the chocolate you asked for, but I can give the feedback!  What a unique, but totally logical, idea.  No one else (not even Joss!) has come up with the idea that the millenium would have magical consequences.  How clever of you!  Also clever was the dialogue you wrote in the cemetary--good character voices.
Thanks! :D

Really enjoyed the writing, but would like a little more. Want them to know that he was willing to burn.  Need the satisfaction!  x
Thanks for reading!

Suspenseful, well characterized, yet with a grimly thoughtful little conclusion.  I like.
Thank you! :)

Lovely group interaction. Anya's a hoot.   The childish taunting and verbal sparring between Spike and Buffy with poor-put-upon Giles was spot on, but I've got to say I'm rather confused.  I have no clue what the actual sacrifice "Spike" made?

I've been suffering with a cold and sleep deprivation, but for the life of me I missed it. What ever "it" was.

Still an enjoyable read... To bad you feel there isn't more here to explore.
Thanks!

He was the sacrifice.  He was standing within the ring of fire and it was circling around him.  He figured it was going to kill him for the spell to work.

I really enjoyed this story.  And your characterization felt perfect.
Thanks!

Hmmm, tell me more....
Hee!  Well, no more for this story, but there's always more stories. :)

Thanks for reading!

You put me in the Halloween spirit all over again. Great job.
Thanks!  Happy to continue spreading the ghoulish cheer.  ;)

Glad to see it posted here.  I still like it! Good Spike - reluctant hero that he is. :)
Thanks!  I was happy to re-post it here (it's the only fic archive I use - quite happily, I might add).  I've been meaning to update my listings of fic and thought that story was a good place to start. :)
