ya so this is one of my favorite stories out there i usally dont like stories like this one where they meet before the show but this is just amazing i look for updates aleast twice a day good job with spike excelent portrale sorry cant really spell

Ruh-roh! I had the feeling someone was gonna bite it here (well, okay, I gleaned it from your fanfic meme), but cold, vengeful Spike is a whole new thing. He's usually the type to fling himself headlong at Angelus, rash and impulsive, looking for a fight... not calculated like this. I'm wondering if this change is permanent, and how Buffy's gonna feel about it. Either way, it doesn't bode well for them, as he's only renewed Angelus' determination to take them both down. Whee!

Oops, maybe I should have posted the meme later. Though, I didn't say which vampire was going to die... Yes, Spike is cold and vengeful here, though this Spike had been a bit cold and vengeful before when it came to someone after Buffy. And while calculated, maybe it was rash to kill Darla, since Angelus will start a whole other game (though not one you might expect). For now, Angelus is regrouping. Thanks for reviewing!

Wow - that is the first time in a long tim that I was actually scared of Spike. Conroled anger is not something you see from him very often.

oh, love the darkness in this chappie. well done. such a spike thing. though now angelus is gonna want revenge too... *sigh* this is gonna be good though... i can tell.

Oh dear...hope Dru doesn't give away Spike being safe from the sun! Gah...she makes too much sense to those who listen.
Gotta say I love this chapter. Cold, very very cold but understandable. Spike picked the perfect revenge but we all know it is far from over. This just upped the ante be millions. Angelus will be out for blood and more.
You could FEEL the rage encased in ice with Spike and the mounting terror of Darla. Really very well written sequence.

Yes, Dru is getting a clue to what's going on. Whether Angelus listens or not is another matter... He will be out for blood and more, but he's going to be quiet for a bit, doing his own evil plans and regrouping. Thank you for the compliments on the Spike and Darla scene! Uh oh. This escalation of hostilities is bound to get ugly. Intricate webs of torture and gamesmanship can get so tangled. I hope our heroes don't suffer too much.
