The Truce by Eternal_red Deb 11/05/2008 10:40 am A little adventure to let them respect each others skills. Another excellent chapter. Hope you are feeling inspired. Love this fic! Yep am on a roll for some reason, despite all the other things that I really should be doing. Next chapter up tonight. Hope you like it. =W= 10/13/2008 11:12 am This is quite lovely. When I first read the summary, I wasn't quite sure I was going to like the mixy genres, but now I can't wait for the updates. Very unique and absorbing. I regret not reading earlier. Oh and I love what you did with the names, very clever and amusing, the sic-fi-cation makes me smile. ooh that last sentence kills me...sigh. Am glad that you gave it a go and delighted that you are enjoying it. Thank you =W= athena606 10/06/2008 02:41 am bad boy spikey love it. But we do love him to be a bit bad don't we. Brunettepet 10/05/2008 05:27 pm Thanks for posting more of this vivid, entertaining story. You continue to paint a rich picture of these people. I love that Anjell inadvertently outed Spike, and I loved this strong image: "Buffy stepped in front of Spike and raised her wrists, holding them together. Then slowly, and pointedly, pulled them apart. " Punctuating her displeasure with a trademarked punch to Spike's nose gave me a grin. I can understand why Spike wouldn't want to be controlled by a human, but he's going to have a long road explaining himself to his new wife. Your attention to detail made the physical sensations of travel disconcertingly vivid, and Aurelia is already intriguing. Buffy is definitely in a strange new world, though it's more welcoming than I anticipated. Full and tipsy, she's unconsciously reaching for Spike. I'm sure that softness will be absent in the cold light of morning. It's all making for a great read. There's certainly a lot of hidden yearning going on isn't there. Am relieved that you understood my failed claim thingy (not everyone does) and glad you liked the travelling through space passage. 10/04/2008 06:48 am Not sure how long they will be able to resist each other. Excellent chapter. Makes it more fun this way though don't you think? sirc 10/03/2008 10:19 pm Well done! Thanks sirc. 10/03/2008 09:27 am Excellent Update - love how you describe the new camp location - well done. Nice Ending too. Always a pleasure to get a review from you and not just because you're good for the ego. Your thoughtful comments always help me to clarify my own sometimes fuzzy logic. Thank you. 10/03/2008 04:11 am E - you do a beautiful job with the descriptions and settings. LOL at Buffy finding out the trick Spike played. Since you're pretty much the queen of amusing stories I hope that you'll approve of my next chapter. Leilani 10/02/2008 03:28 pm OH thank you for getting us this new chapter so quickly - I'm absolutely in love with this story and can't wait to see the story pick up speed. I'm not sure about the speed - but I do my best. New chapter up shortly. ya_lublyu_tebya 10/02/2008 09:01 am Aww, I hope she doesn't stay mad at Spike for too long. He's looking out for her and all. Great update. I love how you set the scene in this story. Thank you. There is a definite gap between what they say and what they do and I love to play with that. Not too much Spuffy interaction in the next chapter but I hope you'll still enjoy it. 10/02/2008 01:17 am oh, great chappie. i love how spike held her through the jump but acted like he didn't care afterwards in the visual presence of the others. and how buffy already is used to sleeping next to him. wonderful update! Am just a big softy at heart. Am pleased that you liked those touches - they're my favourite bits. | |||
