Hurray--another chapter!  Best. New. Year's. present. EVER!  I love how creative you are and how you manage to surprise me with your twists....like when Spike bit her that is how they discovered she'd been drugged.  I didn't see that one coming!  And I also adored how the characters referred back to how he'd cared about Buffy before she became the Slayer and he could love her that way again.  So sweet!

Excellent update.  So glad to get a heads up on this before Buffy and her mom are in peril (or it could still happen).  so many places that you can take us with the story line.  Love this fic.

AHA  Brilliant way for her to find out the truth!  YAY Spike.  This should be interesting.  Wonder how she'll explain the way she discovered the truth.

You've really done a great job of keeping this story interesting and flowing nicely for a large number of chapters...congratulations!

Nice. Liked the ordinariness of the previous one and then the quiet intensity of this one...You do know how to end them, like every chap has its own beginning, middle and end...apart from the overall story. Dialogue as good as ever...loved the paragraph about his afterglow epiphany; it's something I've thought about (in relation to spuff) but never quite expressed as eloquently...          

Not at all surprised that he could taste something wrong with her blood, but thought he might find something else.  Great conversations between them.

Oh, interesting twist having Spike discover Buffy's been drugged by tasting her blood. Spike will probably be wanting to bite Giles next when he finds out he's behind it. Come to think of it, I wonder if this Spike knows enough about Slayers to know about the Cruciamentum (or whatever your version of it is).

Eeeek!! She's been drugged. As Mister T would say "I pitty da' fool" who would drug the slayer when she has such a protective lover watching over her.

Can't wait to see how you resovle this issue with all the players - Angelus, Giles, the watchers council, Joyce, Buffy and Spike.

I love how their connection gets stronger, and look what it's revealed!!    The calm before the storm.  Perfect.
