OH so glad to see this updated! Now to discover this legend....intriguing!
I can see Buffy's point. It is a different dynamic now and the giving of blood needs to be other than a set routine. I think she can tackle that change easily enough. Offering when not expected for example would work nicely and likely please him.

The idea of the "business arrangement" becoming something different as their personal relationship deepens is very interesting. I just hope Buffy is able to phrase it tactfully enough that Spike doesn't feel he's getting "fired".
