i'm not liking that faith has taken over buffy's life, her town, her watcher, i got upset when giles called her his slayer. even though buffy's a vampire now, it has to hurt for her to hear that.
Well, I'm glad the chapter could raise emotions out of you. If you've read the other parts of the series, you know it was a slow and reluctant process on Faith's part and she has respected Buffy. But for slayers, it's always about the mission. Faith is embracing her slayer self and she's all about the mission now. Giles can care for Buffy and still not agree with everything she does or says. Faith is his slayer and he has a job to do. Watch over her and guide her. He's doing his job. Though, his words do hurt. I'm sure he's hurt that Spike is her guide now.
