I love how you focused on the way that  not all new slayers are created strong and ready; look at the variety in the season 7 pootentials.  Luckily, Adia has Buffy, the Scoobies, and Spike.  Loved the scene where Spike freaked her out in the cemetary  But after telling Giles she was sleeping with Spike, Buffy added, "I need THIS."  This?  Not I need SPIKE?  Oh dear, it sounds like Buffry is just using him again.  Poor Spike.  Bad Buffy!
