Another amazing chapter.  I like how you've completely transported us into this other world.  Fabulous cliff hanger.  Look forward to more at your very earliest opportunity.  Love it!!

I am so enjoying this story. Your characterization is excellent and this alternate universe you have created is a great feat of imagination.

I hope you can find time to add a new chapter soon, I can't wait to see where this goes.

Thank you for the great gift of this story.

Oh my!  If you're going to write such cliff-hangers don't be mean and make us wait months for the next chapter again. Please

Oh, what a horrible, horrible cliffhanger!
I am reallly loving this story. It's got to be one of the most original concepts I've seen yet in Buffy fanfiction. I love how you incoporate the characters into the new world.
Hope you update again soon!

You don't know how I clapped my hands in delight to see you've updated, and I'm every bit as enthralled with it now as I was then. I love this world you've put them in, and I see them getting into an another one. Oh I'm certainly up for more.

It's wonderful to read more of this captivating story.  The world you've created here is vividly drawn and the small details really make the story sing.

You  captured the claustrophobia of venturing through the underground tunnels. and I was as relieved as our heroes to have a breather in the large cavern.  Finding other refugees and being able to share what will kill the Terr-Khan bodes well for some of this town's survival.  It had been looking hopeless on the surface.

The final leg of the journey was also well drawn and I enjoyed the description of the long abandoned dwellings and their remaining artifacts.  Jontan's cave was fascinating, and I love that  the guardians left Jontan's body so he might meet this savior.

Buffy's reaction to touching the book spurred them all to action and I wondered what she had experienced.  When Spike awoke alone,  the mystical portion of this quest began to unfold.  The  image of the blue fire and Buffy's eerie silence gave me goosebumps, and Spike's fear was palpable.  Everything clicked with the two of them re-enacting Jontan's painting and that bite seems to have been the final act necessary to send them both on the rest of their journey.

Thank you for updating this vivid, fascinating story.  I'm looking forward to discovering where Buffy and Spike have ended up.

 YAY UPDATE.
And it was great too.
“I won’t let you fall.” Spike breathed in her ear. “I’ll never let you fall.”
Amazing.
And then the cliffhanger! GR ARG.

Great to see that you have returned to this story - Can't read right now, but will get to it later tonight - I really like what you are doing with this fantasy/scifi realm for the Buffyverse.

Thank you so much for getting back to this -
