Another excellent chapter - I feel so sorry for all three of these characters  - What a HUGE messup, not only Buffy but from Xander as well - surely he must know that Buffy does not love him the way he wants. 

Like the treatment you are doing with Spike, his needing to prove to himself that he can be a warrior for good and a Champion on his own, his own terms.  Nice the way you brought in their history with sex and love - Buffy seeing and feeling like it was a sexual only encounter and Spike still feeling more than only sex.

Like your dreamscape and eyes sequence.

Oh, Buffy. About time you decided what (or rather who) you want and went all out for him instead of playing them both. Bad Things are going to happen if either of them find out what you've been doing with the other.
Somebody is going to end up heartbroken whatever happens... but even though I'm dreading the next painful chapter I can't stop reading....

Oh hell, this story is killing me.  Everybody hurts so much.  Even poor Renee, who is in love with Xander.

Buffy.. making wrong choices.. hurting herself and everyone else..
