Nice interplay between them, even though the situation is dire.  She's realizing he's not just your typical vampire (and what is a typical vampire?) or that he's not Angel (which is very much a good thing).  But the situation is going from bad to dire, isn't it?

It's sad that sometimes it takes something major for someone to appreciate what they have.  I'm glad she finally did.  Onto the next chapter.

What a horrible ordeal for Buffy!  Sincerely hope that Willow is impatient and interferes sooner given the time differential.  Love the spooning!

another great read! Just read all six chapters and am enjoying your writing yet again, so well written and fluid. Will Spike find the amulet (or should I say bus token) or will Willow and the gang realise they need to help, will the demon spawn arrive soon - yes you have me hooked, bring on the next chapter.
