Your Buffy & Spike are spot-on, voices so in character to that time in the series. I have to say I'm enjoying evil-Spike again. Kinda nice to have Big Bad talking smack & being his punk ass self.

These lines stood out for me:

"He'd find Drusilla, hand her the Slayer's heart in a pretty Slayer-bone box, wrapped in Slayer-skin and tied with Slayer-guts, and Dru would forgive him and love him again."

"Better to be safe than sorry, yeah? He couldn't wait to hear what she had to say on the subject."

A rather frightening world you're creating.  It's almost like 'The Last Slayer in the World' (and her vampire!)

If Buffy was really mean, she'd take Spike's car and have that back seat hosed out.  She should certainly drive it.  Hee.

I was wondering if the poor folks stuck outside would have horrible sunburns.  I guess you've sidestepped that issue.

 

good descriptive writing on how both Buffy and Spike are feeling, love the "spike was a very cranky vampire".
