Great time travel story - I really love how you took Buffy back with the great gift of her second chance at having her love and life with Spike and at the same time not having the story go through the past events.  The events you chose were just right to touch back to some of the most significant events for all the characters in the history of the series and still making this read like new adventures.

Well Done - it's not every story that you re-read that gives you as much enjoyment as the first reading.

Great reading this one again - I've read this three times now and enjoyed it just as much.   One of my favorite time travel stories.

This was just what I needed.  A funny, touching story where Buffy asserts herself, enjoys herself and is just as full of life as she always wanted to be.  I laughed out loud so many times... it was great.  Very uplifting and lighthearted without being sugary 'air'.

Thank you

I enjoyed reading all of Second Youth with all my heart. luckily my first -complete- reading was on a weekend. I could barely step away from my computer, even if my eyes hurt :D
I'm guessing you are a professional writer or a very, very  tallented amateur teen. anyway, wow!
just wow

Just discovered this fine Spuffy fic, & I have only two tiny complaints: One of course is that it ended. Two? would have been a lot more fun if Spike had thrown Angel a beating as he did in "Destiny". As for Riley..? humilation would have to suffice. (would've been nice if Buffy staked him with a plastic stake...) You're handling of Warren, however, was beyond brilliant!! Sending him to prison with Spike's chip..? PURE GENIUS! On the Spuffy scale of 1 to 10..? 13.75.

Bravo!

Great second reading - and I like your happy ending for Buffy and the solution to The Slayers - First Evil arc.
Thanks!

Why, exactly, did you choose to have what happened to Willow happen?

I can't help but notice that this story the same thing that the real season 6(and earlier) had.  They talk AT Willow instead of with her.  They lecture instead of teach.  They warn of vague boogeymen instead of legitimate problems.  No one ever mentioned people like Rack to Willow.  In fact I think Buffy nearly killed him, but doesn't even mention him to Willow that I saw.  It's like people expecting Reefer Madness to be an effective anti-drug message.

How exactly does a "witchy" Buffy, who knows what happened to Willow justify keeping it a secret  instead of working with her?
I'm not going to try and excuse myself.  I didn't set out to fix everything in the sixth season, and I felt that it would not be true to Buffy's character if she could fix everything.  I'm sure there are those that would debate that point with me.  There are flaws in all the characters, that's why we write about them.  In this particular fic, my goal was to have Buffy attempt to fix her life, but given the enormity of the task, and reliving the past that she was so nostalgic for, presented certain blinders.

Thank you for your review.

Despite the fact I really don't like the ending, it's a good fic :)

Again: you can be proud of yourself!
Thanks!

Yo, great fic here. Happy!Buffy is a good Buffy. I really liked the angst wasn't hard core and Buffy was light and happy. Spike was good in this as well. Loved that you made Buffy and Anya be better friends too. All around this was a damn good fic. Awesome.
Thanks!

This is one of the funniest and best fics I have ever read... and I've read a lot! So wonderful to have a cheerful carefree Buffy willing to own her feelings... what a difference it made! If only it could have been Amanda... or Rona... or Vi... Molly's accent was atrocious!
lol, but I liked Molly!

I had trouble believing you were going to be able to make a happy season six, but congrats you did. Great fluffy goodness:D I have finished this story in this one day; i had trouble walking away. Sorry for the short and quite possible incoherent review, but going on 3 and a half hours of sleep is wearing me down. Great job, and I'm sure ill be reading more of you soon:D
So happy you liked it! Thanks for reading!

This was recommended in livejournal's buffyverse top 5. Once I started reading it, I couldn't stop - it was that good! I read it all in one go. Made me laugh out loud several times. Loved the characterisations. Well done!
Thank you so much!
