Hmm very dramatic chapter but I have a hard time beliving it. I mean this is not some stupid fledgling vampire and novice slayer we are talking about. How belivable is it that humans could follow them and not be noticed, they might be able to if they didn't suspect anything but once the cat was out of the bag I doubt that either Spike or Buffy would go around day dreaming about stuff. It's not very belivable to me.
I am sorry you felt that way - I am working under the premise that the Council is use to having sophisiticated merceneries in thier employ; much like the Order of T - humans can be trained to be stealthy around slayers or vampires. Hope you keep reading even if you disagreeed with this chapter!
