Good story. It was always my thought that if Buffy and Spike had been together by the end of Season 5, she might not have died. It was just a gut feeling I had. I liked this one.

Great story! I really like how she actually accepted what she saw and decided to change it for the better! And it looks like she didn't just give him the crumb, he got the whole cake! lol

You are right so much could be done with that episode, and I so prefer you version over what happened. This was a nice little fic, and if you ever had the desire, would make a great beginning of a much longer one.
