When Spike was standing in front of the Powers, did he miss that they called him they're Champion. Looks like he did. Wonder how Xander would feel if Buffy give up his life to save Spike's, not very good I'm guessing. Spike's back with her now and at the moment that's all that matters. Well this catches me up, so I'll have to beg for updates like everyone else, so please update soon, need to find out up the last trail is going to be. Great story, thank you for the read.
Thanks Verda. Spike is still unsure of himself, like the big softhearted vamp he really is. He's that used to being the 'kick the Spike' that he's been in the past that he can't believe that he'd matter so much. Xander is just so bitter he's missing the important things. awesome story. Love it. But I'm a little bit confused...about the second test...wouldn't it alter the timeline? Or was it an alternate reality or an illusion of some sort? If Spike sacrificed himself like that, wouldn't he still be human and not a vampire anymore?
Thank you. I'm allowing poetic licence to intrude a little; whilst it is likely that it would alter the timeline, I'm betting on the Powers fixing everything back just so that they get their hero. I'm allowing my imagination to run a little bit away with me. Hope it doesn't confuse too much.
