Hi Eow - this came up on random. Finally, somebody who sympathizes with poor miserable Buffy. I like it.
Ohh, I like random. :) I think Buffy gets a bad rap for her mistreatment of Spike in season 6, so it sometimes gets overlooked that for a while there, she really did have serious, legitimate problems.

This is gonna be great! I can tell from the start. You have a wonderful writing style, and I'm looking forward to the read.
Thanks! Glad you're enjoying it so far!

You captured the pain so well that Buffy felt, her confusion and disorientation as well. This is a beautifully written story and I am so glad you are going to fix what the show destroyed between them. I love that Spike loved her enough to really let her go if she was happy and at peace. Beautiful story!

Wonderful beginning. Hate that she's so unhappy but glad that the only peace she's found had been with him. Looking forward to catching up, thanks.

Thanks for writing a non-bitchy Buffy. That first night, when Spike took her hands gently in his That was one of my favorit Buffy/Spike scenes - it's so tender and loving.
Yeah, that's one of my favorite scenes too.

Nice beginning. It's understandable that Buffy might not want to be saved, hello, she was in heaven.
Yeah, definitely understandable. But now she's back, Spike's not gonna let her go so easily...

I always liked this scene in the show, it holds so much promise of the trust and friendship they could share. I really like that you have shown the next moments for both Spike and Buffy alone. More please, soon! I look forward to seeing where this goes.
This episode had some of my favorite Buffy/Spike moments of season 6 (this scene, "147 days," and "Every night I save you") - and you're right, they did have so much potential, and it just hurts to see how they ended up... so, um, I'm fixing it.
