I love the way this is progressing. Spike doesn't realise how much of his intentions Buffy can read does he? Typical Council reaction though, hope Buffy can bring herself to tell Giles before the Council arrives...

oh. I love Lydia Chalmers! There used to be a S/Lydia story on AAS, where Spike 'distracted' the watcher wantabe during Checkpoint. Not that I am remotely interested in seeing those two get together. Just surprised that you brought her in to the story. And yes, if you haven't guessed by now, love the story.

I think Spike is setting a trap that he will fall into. Don't see him pulling off the plan to distract Buffy into not offing his minions.

Looks like Lady Vicky is as talented as Buffy. I was hoping she might have had a harder time of it. So everyone knows about Buffy and Spike. After what Spike said, the claim isn't permanent? Just use her for a while and dissolve the claim? Angel, Parker, Riley and Spike, wait a lucky girl she is! Got a giggle out of Angel's always less-then-perfect timing. Wonder why Spike wanted for her to find the liar to begin with or is this one of his latest screw ups? Fun to read, looking forward to more.
