wonderful ending - so glad to be able to read another of your works - this really gets to my "bleak side" mind set of their relationship -

fine lines, but oh so cold and hard; scary and really got to me. In so many ways a perfect picture of Buffy and their relationship. There was a part of Buffy that would be so cruel and heartless and angry. Even if it all came from some very deep and troubling self-doubts and self-hatred, there was a big part of her that was very difficult to accept or like.

It hurt me a little for Buffy to admit that she didn't love Spike! I guess it makes sense that with the trauma and craziness of the two years after she was brought back she could never quite allow herself the chance to really love him. But she did care, enough to strangely compel her to go to him.

Intriguing beginning; Spike's feral (I love him like that, yum!) and doesn't know Buffy? Obviously a sign of the apocalypse! So glad to see a new story by you; absolutely LOVE your work! Any new Bittersweet on the horizon?? *hint hint?, LOL* Can't wait to see more of this new one; update again soon!
