I started reading this on another site (and was really bad about not leaving a review) when I saw the update here and that there was 20 additional chapters, it made my night. I am really enjoying the story, not just the plot and action but also how well it flows. I like the set-up you have created between Spike and Buffy with them getting to know each other before she is called, and the interesting differences it has made. Thank you for my evening’s entertainment and I am looking forward to following the rest of the story.
I assume the other site was either Elysian Fields or FFN. Not that long ago I was invited to post at EL, and I had put off posting at FFN, because of *cough* unfinished stories from another fandom that are there. So I've been posting a chapter on both every other day or so until I catch up to where I am on the BSV and SR.

I've just finished reading through from the beginning and I can't wait to see what happens next! It's refreshing to see Spike and Buffy interact without their usual baggage. Thanks for an interesting story.

Yeah, what better way to get rid of an obsessed vampire than to give him your magical blood? :) The feelings will definitely out. Buffy might not quite realize it yet, but she has entered into a physical relationship of an entirely different kind with Spike. Glad you liked it, and thanks for reading!

So now we know that Faith is dead.. dead.
And Spike has been hired as a trainer/body guard for blood.. Didn't hear that she said he couldn't kill for blood. I assume that is what she meant since she is giving him hers.
Sunnyhell.. getting more interesting .. and the training and sparring should make a great read.. he is fighting his feelings for her.. human and slayer
