Nothing to be said but "what a great chapter" I think this work just might end up as one of my favorites of your work.

I just loved this line and section.

"She was stripped of life forever. No new chance to clarify things, to get her right, to make it up to her. No way to ever assuage ...."

I absolutely hate that F--- Xander, I hope Buffy knocks him through a wall, Really good chapter , is she finally gonna tell him all? I hope so.

Can Xander have a nasty very painful accident, or better yet Buffy cutting him out of her life will hurt more.

I find myself wishing I could slam a dense enormous door on this story, but I'm just too weak to stop reading. It's intriguing, painful, utterly heart-wrenching and it's a testament to your talent that I continue to read. Although, it was a pretty close call there until Buffy showed up.
I could not hate Xander more if he had staked
Spike or pushed him into the sunlight, at least those would have been less cruel and vengeful! The venom and garbage that spewed from Xander's mouth was accompanied by tears as I realized I could no longer feel sorry for him and poor, sad, pitiful Buffy would have to work 10 times harder to get things right between her and Spike. I hope she finally comes completely (or almost) clean with Spike about their past! While I wish you would just end my misery, I am thankful that quick updates keep me from wondering where it could possibly go from here!

Glad Spike had an air of detachment from Xander's lies .. even when he believed him about the rape. And caught the "eye" remark.

Felt Buffy would save the day.. wish she would have inflicted a little more pain on Xander and she probably won't ever know the real meaning of why he shouldn't have gone to confront Spike. Waiting to see her reaction to Spike's almost demise. She is already there.. if she loves him she will let him go..if that is what he wants.

Waiting to see what happens with L.A. and the portal.

Great and intense chapter - Loved the way Xander is just boiling in envy and bitterness. Can Buffy kick his butt a little?

And I was thinking Xander might have has some shred of decency!! I hope Buffy can be honest with Spike now. Great chapter.

Oh thank God; my heart was in my throat, I swear. But what a place to leave it! You are toooo cruel!! LOL! I knew Xander would skew things to suit his own outlook, but my GOD, the bitterness he still feels... wow. Ouch, cliffhanger. It seems Xander is carrying a lot of guilt about Buffy being in a 'bad way'. And instead of coming to terms with his part in Buffy's resurrection he's blaming all that happened in the aftermath of her resurrection on Spike. What a spiteful exchange. Bring on chap 33 please!
