Well, that was... confusing. I suppose that's how Willow felt being inside Spike's mind and how he feels every day now. Glad to see Willow being honest about the possible outcomes!

How can there be nothing there when William's persona seems to be asserting itself as an integral part of Spike? I find this perplexing and I'm eager to see how you resolve this. This story is very intriguing.

OH boy are we gonna get our spikey back or is some big wizard blocking what really happened.

So something or someone is blocking Spike's past.. Maybe because it didn't "suck" him into the portal and was only able to take his mind..
