Well, wasn't expecting that!  Strange that what triggered this recent crazy spell and more memories was Dawn's scent.  Love how you're writing Xander!  I can tell he's trying to be different for Buffy but he's still the same hateful person he's been throughout this fic and I can still hate him.  Glad Spike's getting closer to being himself again!

Thought I could just not sleep tonight and win my treat early--Patience is a virtue that neither Spike or I possess.  Did Angel and the others?  They get out too?  So many pieces and parts to consider.  Give a nickel to see you work--it must be something.  Thanks for your story now--it's needed. ¶

As much as I enjoyed the possibilities of "facets 'o Spike", I hope he's almost all there. Just the last few months of memories missing seems as good as can be hoped for, and even those will likely creep back in short order. As someone who has actually had a short bout with amnesia, this chapter ending feels very, very real. Now, I'm thinking ahead to the mystery of the Battle of the Alley. I'm thoroughly roped in.

please stay healthy until finished, please no weddings, funerals, babies birthed--trips to the grocery, walk the dog--nothing until all is said and done please becos the only thing keeping me from evoking wolves is having this treat.  Please maintain balance in your clever agile brain, lots of water--has anybody mentioned that your story is amazing becos it doesn't fit any niche I've read yet--is dark, but not dreadful, is funny but not goofy, like a wooden roller coaster you can hear the tracks singing in the background tying it altogether and the track here I'm hoping is love between the beloveds and peace.  But I'm wit'chew chile, til all said and done.
