I like your changes. 

Spike thinks entirely too much.  Loved the "guys are situational" line. and silence on her end. Stubborn, sad, angry, he couldn't tell

Definitely liking the rewrite. It  feels more fluid and does not have the angsty jerking back and forth.  Thanks for your efforts.

Surprising selfless Faith there, honest too.  Dare we hope something good will come of this?

I liked Faith's kick in the pants.

This was a great chapter.  Makes me glad for the rewrite.  I like the Spike/Faith interraction.  Like the realization he has. 

Yay for Faith, for coming through like this! And yay for Spike finally trying to get in touch with her! Can't wait to say how their meeting goes

NICE encounter with Faith and Spike - I always thought that Faith and Angel would have been so good together - good for each other.  Thought she was wonderful in this chapter.   I loved her line about "clarity"

Good questions because so much of their history, IMO, was fracture and made tragic by her past -

Very nice; loved the conversation with Faith, who would have been a contender, if his affections weren't so thoroughly captured.  And Buffy, hovering and hoping.  Lovely.

The dialogue in this chapter is loads of fun, but the bit about putting on a pot of coffee for friends far away . . . just stunning. So simple and evocative.

Absence makes the heart ......... and a perfect picture, those tears on the runaway, supposedly 'ambivalent' vampire's face.

Lovely.

Very good chapter. I was ready to get very pissed at Faith... but she did good (in a weird, twisted sort of way). Hope they can talk and fix all this badness.

Can't wait for the next chapter, excellent as always!

    Maybe a few battles with demons and Buffy..  at another Hellmouth would put things more into perspective.. he does love watching her fight..

Oh, gawd, he does still love her!!  Thank you thank you--and if I ever get off this addicting roller coaster of a story, I think I'm gonna hug your neck.  She is grown up now--is Spike finally there too?  Take care of them (and us) I'm so glad to be reading your story again!!
