I absolutely applaude your courage to do a  re-wirite.  And truth be told I like this version better.
 
I love how they are so open with each other.  I felt that towards the end of Buffy 7 they were headed in this direction, ya know?  We just didn't get another season of them together to see thier relationship flouirsh and grow into what it should have been.  Thank you for giving that to me in this story.

So...when are you going to crash my entire world?  I am waiting for the proverbial shoe...  ***silence***  :)

Very solid sex scene, H.  I know how hard you must have worked on that to get it just right.  I feel the sword of doom hanging over our lovers heads.  Grrr.

Like all your stories, this is a truly remarkable achievement. I applaud your courage in withdrawing so many chapters in order to make this the best it can be, and I believe that you have, once again, created a genuine "truth" in this fandom. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but once again, I am astonished at how the imitators can, on rare and beautiful occasions, surpass the originators. Thank you.

Myohmy, love with the beloveds is an awesome undertaking--10 days....10 days--there's this little naggy hitch in the get-along here.  So far so good, it's not a dream it's not a dream?  No April fool's?  Love the pictures you puzzleword piece together for us.

Still enjoying (what am I saying? loving!!!) the wait for the other show to drop... only maybe it can not drop? and everything can be A-OK?!?!

another great update - and I really like this ending - One of the things that I never understood was Angel's attachment to wanting to return to his human status.  Since, IMO, he was in search for forgiveness and redemption, spiritual qualities, being in a human body had nothing to do with his journey of redemption. 

Spike, I think is right, our history makes who we are, he can use all those experiences to move forward and while the idea of human form Spike is tempting, I think that Buffy does not need a normal human I think she needs her counterpart consort to be a strong warrior as well.  We know that normal humans can be warriors and heroes, whole point of the series, but I just like Spike with all his vampiric strengths - having to give up the daytime really sucks, but its the price he has to pay - The Slayers have their own burdens and prices to pay. 

Well, that was a lovely chat.  Don't know that I have ever read them so content at your hand, of course, they still have filthy mouths but you write that so well.
