New Year's Eve, season seven.

“Wordlessly she reached for him, like a child reaches in the darkness for comforting arms, desperate for something, anything, to take this terror away.” My version of the evening at the Bronze, at the end of Tabula Rasa.

Spike has a chance to show Buffy his sincere admiration without creepy stalkerness. Set just after Intervention, before Tough Love.

Following that kiss of gratitude, Buffy leaves a battered Spike in his crypt alone to recover from Glory’s torture, only to return moments later.

Set in Season 5, picking up immediately after “Intervention”. First in a trilogy of one-shots, the stories can be read on their own, but are meant as a series. The next one is “Cold Light of Day”, followed by “Enough”.

Set more or less in the comics world and building from some encouraging (for Spuffy lovers) scenes between Buffy and Spike recently (hopes to be dashed any second, I’m sure), this doesn’t actually require you to read or like the comics to understand it.
 

A sequel to "Slayer's Night Off", this fic picks up the next evening. Don't think it's necessary to have read the first one, but it coudn't hurt. Spike and Buffy find themselves working out a relationship now that feelings have been exposed, and Riley turns into even more a misguided bad guy.

Written for the Choose Your Author ficathon - my prompt called for a Something Blue fic in which Spike and Buffy go a little further than in canon.... smut was called for...

Buffy needs a date for New Years Eve. Spike volunteers. Nuff said?

Something wasn't quite right, but what could Buffy do about it?  She was no superhero.  Season 4, during the episode Superstar, sometime after Buffy and Jonathan encounter Spike but before everyone realizes Buffy's right about Jonathan.

Their kind of normal looks a lot like yours.

I think this is the very last schmoop fic to post here. I'll hold off on posting anything else while everyone recovers from the recent spammage. :) This is a short (schmoopy) season six that takes place before there has been kissage to spoil the growing friendship.

The last two of the schmoop fics. These are the ones that filled the card. The first prompt was "anniversary, one partner sick" - I went in a different direction than expected. :) The second one was a free space, so I did a follow up fic.

Far, non-comic-related, future. Buffy is semi-retired, divorced, and alone. Her boss wants to introduce her to someone. Another schmoop prompt - "blind date"

After the Sunnydale Hellmouth fell before her eyes, Buffy had thought that her life would change. Time passed, six months to be exact, and Buffy found she was wrong. She tries, but just can't seem to let go, although one drunken phone call could be just the change Buffy is looking for.

A human Buffy wakes up in a mental hospital after her dive off Glory's tower. She recovers her sanity and begins to build a life in the real world. But is it real?

AN: To provide a little more explanation and warning than might be visible in the summary. This grew out of a "what if" discussion on someone's LJ, in which it was asked "What if Buffy's sojourn in the mental hospital during Normal again didn't end?" or "What if it was real?" and some other possible scenarios. I was intrigued and this story was born. I'll be posting a chapter a day until this site has caught up with TSR and my Live Journal.
