Oh, {sniffles} Poor Spike and Buffy. Damn it! I want Angel in the breeze. Stupid jerk. Poor Buffy having to know that Angel will not only be saved, but that Spike's death is what will save Angel. I'm running to the next chapter.

GRRR!!! I really cannot stand Angel/Angelus whoever he is this time! Stupid idiot PTBs. Don't they know Spike is soooo much better than Angel? Spike and Dawn better not die!! I really hate Angel!
Oh, and I can't believe poor Xander. I mean, I feel so bad for him and I'm sooo mad at him. Look, now you've got me all conflicted. lol. Awesome job writing his character though, its very believable.
This is an awesome fic! I started it today and I'm completely hooked. I read the entire thing straight through and I can't wait for the next update. This is amazing!

I am so delighted that this is being updated again! I went back to reread and et the flow going. Lovely update.
Everyone is in character and Angel not being that different from Angelus is shown clearly to all (even tainted blood aside).
So typical of Spike to see himself as unimportant and yet be willing to do what is asked. Just lovely peek into his being (cause even without a soul he is like this).
Please do continue.

I'm sure the Wankers That Be have plans they aren't telling...still, poor Spike always has to make the sacrifices, maybe because he's always willing to in the first place.

OMG! Any hell that can be dished out to the PTB on behalf of Spike should be served up painfully and slowly. Is this rotten fight with Angelus part of the trials? More soon please.

WOW Deb! I've missed the last few chaps and just now caught up. What action! Having Cordy back into the mix to trade barbs with Spike is great. The Faith/Buffy tangle during the Angel/Spike battle was great. But Buffy has always been stronger than Faith; however, given the stress and the Faith's motive, I guess I could see Faith overpowering her for a bit. Still... the lesson we learn here kiddies... don't fuck with Willow! oh and Harmony (from 2 chaps ago) is still a doofus.
Hi hun. Thow thanks! I know that under normal circumstances Buffy would so kick Faith's ass but with the fretting, the emotion, the lack of sleep - I think it would be safe to say that she'd be distracted at the very least. And besides..I needed to make the point. :)

Whoa! Powerful, exciting new chapter! I love Spike's acceptance of his role - and Cordelia's understanding that his love is worth more than Angel's posturing. Will be anxiously awaiting the next chapter.
