Wow, what a wonderful idea. A ball. The girl's are going to flip. With that little spark between them, the first dance should be very interesting. I never thought about it but he never told her that he loved her, did he? Not after coming back, not til their last night together. How romantic William is. Excellent beginning, thanks.

How sweet is Spike in all of this! He is doing a really nice thing for all of them and especially Buffy. Really hope she can keep her word and not complain because clearly this means a lot to him.
Yeah, its going to be a tough night for her hehehe. And souled Spike WAS amazingly sweet, until he reappeared in Angels office.

You are not the first to make that comment. I figure this is her moment for reflection - the calm before the major action - with real fear of death finally making its presence known.

Thanks DoS. I picture it as a very Victorian type gathering - Season 7 Spike being more William than at any other time.

It's a sweet romantic story - Buffy and Spike didn't get too many moments like that. Of course there are a few rough spots too.
