Poor, bitter, deluded Xander! He's always thought that one day he'd get Buffy never realizing that maybe there would never be a day where she'd want him back. I just know he's gonna do something stupid b/c that's just the way of angry Xander. Wondering what other memories are ahead for Spike.

Terrific scene with Xander - I sort of missed the snarky Spike come back. Hope you let Spike smack him later to make up for it. Loved the way Spike figures out that he had sex with Anya.

I love this story. BUT I am on my last nerve with everybody walking on eggshells. Please tell me that the next chapter will contain a monologue like this one:

"I should listen to my own speeches. I'm doing it again, keeping it all in. You have every right to know something of our checkered past. We did have a, um, sexual relationship. Before. Before you got your soul. But we weren't really lovers, because I never let you love me. Not the way you wanted to, tried to. I was horrible to you. I'm so ashamed of how I behaved, and so afraid you'll hate me when you remember how awful I was."

Now really, Buffy, is that so hard?

Ah , Xander, Xander, Xander...such hate and bitterness. But it could be what Spike needs to hear, who knows?

That's one scary Xander - disturbing. The chapter crackled with it. Thank god Buffy and Spike have their moment!

Poor sad Xander. Jealousy and hate. And how intuitive of Spike to realize that he and Anya had sex. And to realize for him, due to Buffy.

A strange detachment, yet understanding of what is happening. And I almost prefer hints of the past slowly letting him know what he was and where he has been. Prefer this over the scene in the woman's basement where Spike remembered he was killing again. Great scene though.

And Buffy trying her best to develop a relationship before he does..and decides it is best to stay away as he did before.

Oh, she's gonna have to tell him; I think Spike's gonna be more pissed off that she didn't tell him things, then that she "took advantage" of his amnesiac state to become involved with him. Either that, or he's just going to be hurt that she couldn't fall in love with him until he wasn't himself. And Xander??? I'm gonna kick him. HARD!! More please!!!
