Buffy and Spike have returned to the alternate Sunnydale where they are married, fighting the hell-god Ben and coping with Buffy being pregnant with the Key.

Back in the other Sunnydale, Buffy and Spike have discovered that hellgod Ben is trying to bring his own brand of evil to the town. But this time the Key isn’t Buffy‘s sister: it seems to be the child she is carrying. Spike is determined she will not sacrifice herself again, so killing Ben seems to be the only option.

Buffy and Spike are back in the alternate Sunnydale which they first visited during Willow’s spell in Something Blue. Here they are married and things are not quite the same as their own world. Now Ben, a familiar hell god, has taken over Sunnydale and is searching for his Key which is in the form of a Slayer’s baby! Buffy knows she has to kill Ben if she is going to save a second Dawn, one who is not even born yet! And she is determined to do it without Spike’s help.

Back in the other Sunnydale, Spike and Buffy who believes she is pregnant with another Key baby, are trying to kill Ben, the hell god. But to their astonishment, it isn’t Buffy Ben wants. it is a very heavily pregnant Faith!

Spike has been taken away to be tortured by Ben, the hellgod in the Alternate Sunnydale. Buffy is imprisoned with Faith, a Slayer who is heavily pregnant with a Key baby.

Buffy has been forced to leave Spike to his fate in the other Sunnydale. She had to rescue Faith and her Key baby from Ben’s evil grasp. And now life goes on, as if he’d never ever been....

Buffy has been forced to leave Spike to face his death alone in the alternate Sunnydale. Rescuing Faith, heavily pregnant with the Key baby, is her mission to save this other world. But now the Key baby has arrived, Dawn is entranced to have a new Key to look after and life seems to be carrying on quite happily. Buffy can’t see that it would do any harm to pay a brief visit to the other Sunnydale so she can grieve with the friends who loved Spike too.

Buffy thinks she has left “husband” Spike dead in the alternate Sunnydale when she was forced to flee with a Faith pregnant with the Key baby. But now Buffy has returned at last through the portal, searching for sympathy from her friends. What she finds is a body.

Buffy has escaped with pregnant Faith back to the original Sunnydale, leaving Spike to his fate at Ben’s hands. She is sure her husband in that world is dead and even the arrival of Faith’s Key baby, Gracie, cannot stop her grief. She decides to return to Sunnydale2 one more time, to talk to her friends there who loved Spike. She doesn’t know that Faith has already gone back, leaving her daughter to Dawn.

Buffy has returned to the alternate Sunnydale, believing Spike to be dead. But although badly hurt, he is alive. He doesn’t realise until Faith tells him that Buffy has been away for two months of her time - in fact abandoning him to his fate. He needs to feed and when Faith offers, he accepts, still bitterly angry at Buffy.

In the other Sunnydale, Buffy has discovered Spike feeding from Faith. He now knows that Buffy abandoned him for over two months, not believing he could have survived Ben’s torture. All Buffy wants to do is go home, but the portal between worlds has gone

Back in the alternate Sunnydale, Buffy feels she has lost Spike to Faith. She is desperate to get back to the 'real' world, but the portal has vanished. But there is someone waiting for her in Ravello Drive - someone very special.....

Buffy has returned to the other Sunnydale to discover that Spike survived Ben's torture. But she finds him feeding from Faith and believes he no longer loves her. Joyce's arrival home throws Buffy into a spin - especially when her mom accuses her of being pregnant.

Ben was vanquished in the alternate Sunnydale; Buffy had to leave Spike behind while she rescued Faith who was carrying Gracie, the Key baby. Buffy was sure Spike had died but finally returned through the portal to discover that Faith was ahead of her, rescuing a dying Spike by letting him feed from her. A very much alive Joyce confronts Buffy, insisting she acknowledges that she is pregnant.

Final chapter. Spike has just discovered that Buffy is pregnant with his child and the Slayer has a decision to make.
