Spuffy fanfiction

I recently read the Cast Me Away series by Enigmaticblue.  Not the first time. It is one of my favorite series.  I have read like a 1000 times. I also like the friendship between Spike and Wesley in that story. I always thought they would have made good friends.

I love stories where Spike leaves Buffy  and she realizes  what she had after he leaves .   So I'm just looking for any recommendations where Buffy realizes that she loves Spike. It could be post Chosen where she thought he dies or if he leaves and starts a new life elsewhere. Of course though I want these stories to end up Spuffy.  I prefer completed or at least being updated regularly stories.

I'm also looking for babies stories but where they have a son. The majority of stories out there always seem to have their kid a girl.  I would love to read a story where they have a son if there are any.   I want a bitty Spike instead of a bitty Buffy.

Thanks

I love the "Cast Me Not Away"  series - really liked Wesley in this one, and I am sorry to say that I have forgotten the name of his partner, she was a terrific character.

I just finished one the other day by Slaymesoftly which you may have already read as well called "What big Teeth you have" and it fits those requirements exactly.  I will be looking for others as well and will  post as I find'em.  Spike didn't classically "leave" as much as stay away and be seen with another female.  I think Herself has one that I will look at and see if it fits.

Back at you later...:D

Thanks for the rec, Kimmy. Hey guest, not to pimp my own stuff, but the theme of probably 99% of my season VI fics is "Spike grows a pair" and/or "Buffy gets a clue", so they would almost all fill your requirements.  There may be a few exceptions, with angsty or non-Spuffy endings, but not many.  Most of them are on this site, or you can find them on my site (http://spuffystuff.org/Fics.html) under Season VI.  Some of the Season VII and later ones lean in the same direction, usually minus the angst of Season VI.   I think all my future fics have Buffy acknowledging her love for Spike and telling him about it.  Enjoy!

nmcil - wasn't her name Nita or something like that? Or was that her aunt or grandmother's name?

Herself's "Bittersweets" series includes Buffy and Spike having a son (they also have a daughter). I'd recommend the whole series, but their son is featured most prominently in the last story, "Where They Have To Take You In." Her fics are all at buggerthis.net.

Good point. Also, rahirah's world, Spike and Buffy have two girls and a boy.  Her stories cover a wide range of points in their lives as the spirit moves her, but always the same characters in the same universe.  http://sleepingjaguars.com/buffy/

Shamefully pimping my own story - Lessons in Love.  It has the "complete" part.  I was working on one, but ran out of gas.  Maybe someday.
If we want her to be exactly she'll never be exactly I know the only really real Buffy is really Buffy and she's gone' who?

Thanks guys for all the recommendations.

I already the Bittersweet series by Herself. Great series.

I'm not sure which stories at this site sleepingjaguars.com/buffy   are the type of stories I'm looking for right now.  All the stories there one set of story. I'm confuse.

I love your stories slaymesoftly. Don't think I read all of them though. So I will love to see what I have missed. Reading "Buffy gets a clue" are some of my favorite stories. Where Spike learns to be his own man. Love it.

As for the baby story. I really want a story where they have a son and he is involve in the story. Doesn't have to be much but not a story where they have a son and then the story ends.  I don't really want them to have a daughter or if they do then maybe where they have a daughter at the end.  I don't know if there are any stories out there like this.

I have read some of Origins by Niamh as well. I have not read all of it yet.  But the only son in that story is Conner.  So, I don't consider that "their son".  Unless, they had a son and I'm not up to that point yet.

Thanks again for all your help. And if you have anymore recommendations then please add them.

The stories at Barb C's site (rahirah - the sleepyingjaguars stie) are almost all set in the world she created in her series that begins with Raising in the Sun, Necessary Evils and the currently unfinished Parliament of Monsters.  All of her short stories in which Spike and Buffy have children are set in the time frame of PoM, which is some time in the future.  It's probably helpful to know the background of their world, but some of them are just snippets  of life and enjoyable as they are. In one, their 12 or 13 year old son has a bad day a school... I can't tell you which of the short stories are which, though, so probably won't help you out much.

You could try the "Protection" series by Lucy Van Pelt.  I've only found the series on fanfiction.net.  Spike and Buffy don't have their son until the 3rd or 4th story of the series, but little Daniel plays an integral role in the story.  She started a final story, but never finished it.  The series is great, though.

Spike and Buffy end up having a son in RipeWickedPlum's classic "Castaway" story, but it was never finished.  Still a very good read, though!

Also, bloodshedbaby's "Some Cold Lovin', Las Vegas Style", found on this site, has them having a son, but again, it's unfinished.

You could read RedWulf50's Time Tossed series, they have a son that has a big part in it, scroll to the bottom of the page and read "Ungettable Get" first

These are some of my favorite stories, and Wulfie has a wicked sence of humor

The "Spike's Will Be Done" series is pretty darn awesome.  They don't have children together in this series, but it has a wonderful Wesley and Spike friendship.

I am reading the last book now, I love this series - and it's nice seeing Spike with loads of money, loads of Buffy Love and loads of doing the right thing - and I really like Wesley and all the new characters that are introduced -

Hi.  I'm a Spuffy fan and have been since the beginning.  I have never been as passionate about a fiction couple the way I'm with Spuffy.  I think a large part has to do with the way James Marsters and SMG played Spike and Buffy. Especially James Marsters playing Spike. Even like 5 years later and I still love reading about Spike and Buffy. It is good to know that many still are interested. Otherwise there will read be no stories to read.  So a big thanks to the writers for keeping our favorite couple alive.

My favorite character is Spike.   No one comes close to my love for Spike.  Spike is not only my favorite Buffyverse character but he is my favorite character from any tv show / movie/ book., etc.  Just the changes that he has made and trying to be a good man/vampire when no one really believed in him.   How he never seemed to be bad enough (evil) or good enough (trying to be good).  I love how he tries though.  Also, how he loves with all his heart  even when the women he loves never really gave to him what he gives to them.  Just makes him so special and worthy. Like Fred says to Spike " you are worth saving". Love Fred so much for that. Which for me Spike is way more special than Angel.  Angel always seem to have it easier and everybody loved him so easy.  Spike had to work hard for everything. He had to turn away from what he is ( a vampire) to be good and do the right thing.

As you can tell I love Spike.  Which is why I like stories where Buffy realizes just how special Spike is.  Or where Spike has friends of his own. I think the only friend that Spike had of his own was Clem on the show.

So thanks for the recommendations.  I enjoyed "Some Cold Lovin', Las Vegas Style and Castaway.

I have read some of "Spike's Will be Done" a long time ago. Just never finished it. I didn't realize that it was so long and so many parts.  I will read it little by little when I have time.

If you guys think of anymore stories like this then post them. Or any great Spike stories but Spuffy then please post.

Thanks for the recommendations.  So is Double Spiked meaning the story has two Spike where Buffy sleeps with both of them.  I'm not really  a fan of those type stories.

Thanks again.
