Okay, so I haven't watched AtS Season 5... But I'm writing a fic about it. What is The Immortal? Vamp/ demon?

It's not really mentioned what he is, and he was never actually shown.  A lot of people come up with all these different things in fictions, he could be a vampire, demon, anything really.

Unless you're doing a "Highlander" cross-over, in which the Immortal has a background.  I've always assumed he was another immortal from that imaginary world, but I don't know if Joss intended that or not.

Tee hee...he could be Cpt Jack Harkness from Torchwood too since he can't die and is morally ambivalent LOL.  I think there's a fic or two with that.

All they said about him on Angel was that males AND females were drawn to him and that he was neither good nor evil having done both.  He also had a three way with Darla and Dru that Angelus and William always resented.  Hope that helps since you didn't see the eppy.
