Don't know if this has been brought up before or not but is anyone else into the twilight book series

Yes, I just recently finished the series and I'm loving it so far.  I can't wait for the next book, and movie when it comes out in December=)

Oh, yes! I love it and am so excited for Breaking Dawn.

Just a question for those who have.... Jacob or Edward and WHY?

Just this evening I was talking to my daughter, she works as a bookseller. She told me about these books and said that I just HAD to read them, she said they are the best books she has read in a while. I guess I will read them soon :)

Oh, the Twilight books are so great, though definitely targeted more toward female audiences. I can't wait to read Breaking Dawn, I pre-ordered it forever ago and can't believe how long it seems until August! Stephanie Meyer's ideas about vampires are totally different, but she blends the mystical idea of it so well into the reality and the mythical love into everyday but romantic life... I love it!  I want Breaking Dawn and to see the movie in December, though I worry it will be a dark gothic flick without the humor the book had,  and I really want to read Edward's point of view in Midnight Sun! I want everything!

I totally support Bella and Edward. I love that relationship and the million ways they show it, and both of them deserve that kind of love. In Eclipse, maybe I didn't like how Edward didn't tell Bella about some dangers, but other than that I thought they were wonderful together. I don't hate Jacob like I hear a lot, but I don't think Bella belongs with him. He's too immature and reckless and sometimes cruel or hurtful and having a relationship with him might be fun and playful and sweet sometimes, like a high school thing, but I don't know if it would be as deep or true as the love Bella and Edward share.

Totally agree, I have to go with Edward, and not just because I prefer vampires.  They have a real love going on there, not saying it can't be real with Jacob, but I do agree that he has some growing up to do.  I like Jake, though.  I feel for him and can't find it in my heart to hate him.  I do hope things work out, maybe he'll find someone else.
