I needed help finding maybe a site where you can translate English to Latin or at least made it possible for you to find what you wanted yourself. I have seen some people with Latin in their fics and not sure if they speak Latin, or themselves know a good site, etc...

I'd be surprised if there wasn't a site somewhere, but you could always try Amazon for a book on basic latin.

Well, I didn't want to spend money on a book when all I really needed was a couple of phrases.

i think my dad did some of the rites... cause he said he helped the priest in Korea while he was over there.... but obviously he isn't a priest since he's married with kiddies, lol

But I found something, didn't seem to have many words... I found something rough, but I was also worried about sentence structure.... the Editors or whatever would usually catch that later, right?

Thank you! I was able to fix the phrases a bit... still not 100% sure about them, but yay.

I had Latin in school, for 5 years, but we never translated anything from German to Latin, always the other way round, because the sentence structure was too complicated.

But since you don't seem to want to translate any longer (and grammatically pretentious) phrases or stylistical works of art (god I hated when we had to translate these)you should be fine with that url (and whatever other rescources you have)

What you translated so far seems to be all right, well except some of the cases maybe, but those are always tricky (well, that and I didn't have to actively use my skills in over 3 years so I'm a bit rusty )

Well I did my best and they didn't have Reborn so I did Born, figured it still fit. The first is sposed to be their version of a mating claim and the second is when they convert someone. *blushes* its for my mermaid story I want to do

Back in the day they wouldnt have said rebourne...they would have said born again or second birth or such.

I know a priest and my daughter speaks latin but only if you want to know the names of flowers.....and no I won't ask my brother the priest for translations, I don't need a lecture on the sins of the flesh....

Here's another latin to English or English to Latin Translator....When I was taking Latin in school this is the one that they gave us.  It requires Java.

Thank you. That's the one I found first and then used Shadow's to double check a bit.

I don't know when you need it, but if you'd like I could look through my books and old notes to check it over a bit more thoroughly, grammar wise... (I don't know how much time I'll have, but I think I should be able to get it done till saturday or sunday at the most) 

Sure, thanks. I don't need it quickly, those two phrases were for a novel which I doubt will be done anytime soon, lol.

I figure the links might come in handy too if I ever use some Latin in my fics, too. You never know.
