it sounds like i've seen the title. what's it about?

I've seen the commercials, at least. It's the latest Will Ferrel movie, and his character starts hearing a woman's voice narrating his life throughout his day....only to find that she's writing his life in a book. And she might be about to bump him off. It looked funny. We just haven't been out to the movies in a while.

It was...funny, sad, romantic...it's totally a "writer movie"  I mean other people will like it but I think other writers will really "get it" in a way nonwriters might not. (now I sound like an infomercial lol.)
