Dollhouse was the hour earlier, so James wasn't up against that.

I liked Dollhouse. Always been an Eliza fan. Amy Acker is on it, too.

What do you all think of Dollhouse so far?
Is it good enough to buy on DVD when it comes out?

- If you want to win a war, you must serve no master but your own ambition..

-The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do.

- A religious war is like children fighting over who has the strongest imaginary friend.

Well, there's only been one episode so far, I think it's too soon to tell.  I did like what I got to see of the show, but I wouldn't say I was completely hooked yet.  And yes, James was very pretty in Numb3rs;)
When I say, "I love you," it's not because I want you or because I can't have you. It has nothing to do with me. I love what you are, what you do, how you try. I've seen your kindness and your strength. I've seen the best and the worst of you, and I understand with perfect clarity exactly what you are. You're a hell of a woman. You're the one, Buffy.

Pretty James - way too little screen time - brought in a lot of JM fans to see the show - however, I have always liked it and have been seeing for a long time - But the guest spot for James Marsters, while a good role, was just not well done as far as character development or involvement for me - however, he as usual did an excellent job with the little he was given -

I LOVED The Dollhouse -

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY  - HOPE YOU WILL TAKE A MOMENT TO SEE MY 2009 VALENTINES  - feel free to use them -

Well, that show won't be airing here until several months from now. I read a summary on the first episode but it seemed super vague.

What exactly happened in the first episode?

I've read that Fox guaranteed Joss the first 12 or 13 eps, so the show will actually get time to build an audience.

I haven't watched Numb3rs before, but I enjoyed the ep last night. James looked like he had fun, more than in some other roles.

Guest, I'm sure Dollhouse is on YouTube by now. Try doing a search. Fox.com will have it up eventually, but I don't know if they allow non-US viewers.

Rats!  I didn't realize JM was on Numbers.  Thanks for the info.  I'll have to catch it on the internet, I guess.  I really wish they had offered the part to him when casting The Dresden Files.  The actor they used is good, but as I watch the DVD I just imagine JM in the role and can hear his voice in my head saying the lines.  He would have done that role perfectly!

Since Joss put Amy Acker on Dollhouse, I wonder if he'll try to bring in other Buffy/Angel/Firefly actors.  I hope so!  I found the first 15 min. confusing and feel the show tried to do too much at the beginning and would really lose any viewers who hadn't read previews about the show's plotline.  I hope he smooths it out a bit so that the casual viewer can get hooked nd the show is picked up for more episodes.  Eliza is a great actor and doesn't deserve to be cancelled again like she was in her last show.  (How come Ghost Whisperer stole the same idea afterwards and is still on the air when Eliza was just as good and came first?)

I really wish they had offered the part to him when casting The Dresden Files.
He didn't want it. I'm sure it would've been his if he did - Jim Butcher loves him, he'd have brought in a lot of genre fans, and he's already "the voice" of Harry for a lot of people, having done the audio books. But it would have required him to move to Toronto (where the show was filmed) and he didn't want to, because his family keeps him tied to the west coast.
Writing should feel easy, like a monkey driving a speed boat.

I got confirmation that Fox promised to air the initial 13 eps of Dollhouse.....so it will have time to build. One plus for Dollhouse is that it gets to start mid-season, when Fox isn't airing The World Series in the way. Moving the shows all over the place for baseball is what killed Firefly and the 2nd season of Tru Calling. Fox never promoted when the moves would take place, so people never knew where to find the shows....so they quit.

Here is the link where you can watch the episodes - help support Joss Whedon on TV - watch again, or for the first time at the Fox Site - I liked it very much and think that is can be another superb Whedon project - but, it is a bad time slot - I had to give up going to an art opening with my hubby  in order to stay home and watch Real Time - and help with the Numbers Game  - plus, extra Very Special NICE seeing JM on Numbers - you can watch Numbers on Comcast on Demand as well -  They did a good combination putting the two Scifi shows together -

Posted a few scans from "High Plains Invaders" - James Marsters gave it his best, the opening scenes from the film were the ones I liked best.

I also posted a bunch of scans from his Strange Frequency "Soul Man" appearance -  Great to go back and see what he looked like in his Rock Band Days.

Goodness time is going by so fast - Get Out and Have A Great Day, do something that will bring some beauty and peace into your life -

I have to admit, those scans are seriously pretty.

Thanks Tammy - that is why I like to make my own when I can - I always manipulate them to try and get good quality.  Sure wish I had Hi Def equipment - all my, once great computer and tech toys are now "old" and I don't have the financial resources to upgrade -
