Wasn't sure if you'd prefer muted colours or maybe something a bit more vibrant - then again seeing as the colours you have now... 
Still, you have the options. When you choose the one you like best, then I'll create a journal background to match and crop up a few avatars and then code up the layout for you.
Not that I count lol, but I like the first version the best. But I love the others too.

Okey doke...I'm using custom fonts in your layout, so lemme know if you like it.
First you need to download these 2 fonts:
http://www.dafont.com/search.php?q=jane+austen
http://www.dafont.com/search.php?q=incognitype
Both of those go in your Fonts folder--path is usually CDrive/ProgramFiles/Windows/Fonts
After you do that, you'll be able to see your layout the way it should look which is up on my test site at:

Lemme know if you like it, want the colours changed or the fonts (DaFont has a TON of freeware fonts and some of them are really nice so if you see something there you like better, lemme know).
i actually love it!! it's awesome!!! perfect just the way it is...i may need help changing the colors on the rest of my lj though...or is that part of the layout? i'm totally clueless about all of this....lol...just let me know what i need to do, love
YAY! Ok, I'm gonna do a step-by step thing here for you in a few so you'll be able to post it up today (I'll even include pics so you can see what I did as I sometimes ramble when explaining things and tend to confuse people).
