Pennames - VOTE!
I posted this at my LJ, but of course not many people have that and I spend most of my time here anyway. ^.^
Just wondering what you all thought about it? Should I for something more unique?
I have a former pen that I used in the Labyrinth fandom - Anyastazya. I've also got other ideas that I can post and have people vote on at my LJ.

I don't think it would take long for people to make the adjustment - It seems to have gone pretty seamlessly for DoS. I changed mine (or, actually, began using one) after I'd posted a fair amount of fics. It was a problem on some of the archives (BS/C) because they either couldn't go in and change it or changing it wiped out all the fics; but it's OK now. I guess somewhere out there some of my earlier fics are still listed as being by Patti, but it hasn't been a problem.
I think if you publicize it enough - on your LJ, in the AN where you post, stuff like that, everyone will get used to it fairly quickly. I say go for it!
PS - we had a contest to pick one for me - everyone on the verse contributed their suggestions and we whittled it down to Tam's idea of Slaymesoftly.
I am upper management.

Yeah, still trying to think of ideas besides using my old Anyastazya. Someone said it was "complicated" on my LJ and not sure what they mean. I still use it a bit when I sign up for sites as my username since its something simple. But not sure if I want something like Lady _______ or Miss ______ or I would use something Japanese but then people would assume I was Japanese of course. I even flirted with the idea of just using my real name so that if I EVER get a novel finished and published people would know it was me, lol.
Anyway, once I think of some stuff I guess I can make a poll on my LJ like I said. And asking people for input to some extent helps advertise early that my penname is changing right? Because the people that help me pick would know it was me of course 
What was DoS's old pen name? And Marie, have you thought of the pen name Jane? It would go well with Tarzan

I've thought before of changing my nick, but the name "zoe" has become so much a part of me that sometimes it feels more like my name than my actual real name.
DoS was jl1980... I had made her a banner for Blood Bound and now she can't use it *sticks out tongue at DoS*

I just read Blood Bound, and the banner was still there, even with
the different penname. I wouldn't worry too much about that if you
change yours - I don't think it's a big deal to have the old name on your
banners, since that's the name you wrote the stories under.

I didn't even know JL changed her pen to DOS. I thought I was going crazy and had been writing reviews for the wrong writer. So glad you cleared that up. And, you really need a Spike or Spuffy penname. And, what's wrong with EAS?
It seems my new penname is Blood Faerie ^.^
Vampkiss already got back to me and changed it on her site, now just have to wait for the other three. I'm sure their busy and its not too urgent, though I hope to have it changed before my next update but not going to be upset if thats not the case, hehe
