BSV Forum - General - Off-Topic Shadow Puppets! Mar 15 2007 12:17 am #1Scarlet Ibis From JM's official site: 1 Mar 15 2007 12:34 am #2Blood Faerie I hope it plays in Atlanta then.... but probably not. Sometimes we get "limited releases" but a lot of the time, not. 1 Mar 15 2007 12:43 am #3 :grr:looks like alot of us will be buying dvd's again....why can't they just go for a international release date only if it plays for a few weeks....:grr: Mar 15 2007 12:43 am #4Guest I'm sure they'll try for any major markets that are receptive, but it's been a tough road just getting the film this far. I'm so excited to see it, though! LA!! Woot!! I'm going to that if I have to start walking 3 days in advance! Like that one with those puppets, a very recent one on a very long list. It seemed to not be shooting for gratuitious gore, and actually catering to the story. 1 Mar 15 2007 09:51 am #7GoldenBuffy yeah, that one with the dead lady and her dolls. not sure if i want to see that. limited release means no pittsburgh. *sigh* man we never get anything. 1 Mar 15 2007 11:24 pm #9LadyYashka Dead Silence is the movie with the dead lady and her dolls. :::shudder::: I won't be seeing that movie, ever. Dolls are creepy and on top of that one of the dolls is a clown doll. I don't like clowns. Of course I probally won't see Shadow Puppets either. Though I do hope it does well. Oddly enough I'm not a big fan of horror movies. Most have to much blood and gore and not enough of a story line. Also a lot of movies have the idiot girl in her underwear going outside, at night, with a killer/monser on the loose, to see what the "noise" was. Also, I'm a great big sissy. :D 1 Mar 16 2007 02:05 am #10Scarlet Ibis "Freddy vs. Jason" and "Final Destination" aside, the horror-ish movies I love are old- "Misery" and "The Shining..." I hope SP does well in California, so I can see it here (Chicago). I mean, it has Tony Todd, who made his mark in horror films. Why can't it go national, damn it? 1 Mar 16 2007 02:17 am #11Blood Faerie I'm a wimp but I also just have to remind myself its not real... all the blood is really corn syrup and that gore is rubber and stuff. It helps. 1 | |||
