::hugs GB:: You're not a bad granddaughter, and you are certianly not the only person to visit Eygypt during bad times. Lord knows I've got a summer home there. I've been where you are a few times, and to put it bluntly, it sucks. The last time I couldn't be there, and a part of me didn't want to be there. I felt guilty for both. So, take your break, and remember, it does not make you a bad granddaughter. ::more hugs::

Hi GB, I'm sending you a lot of hugs and let me tell you, you are not a bad granddaughter and I know how you feel. In those bad times you need to take a break sometimes. *hugs*

* Hugs* GB, you aren't a bad person for wanting to focus on other things, things you can do something about.  That's just human.

Take Care, okay?  And, I'll keep you in my prayers.

I know exactly where you are coming from, GoldenBuffy. My grandma was on her death bed when I went on vacation. I had considered not going but she seemed to get better, so I went. Then she passed away. Ironically I was vacationing in the very home she spent her life in whilst she died in a foreign country. I do so hope that your grandmother gets better. :)

GB - Grandma won't care.  I'm sure you were around when she was up and around.  That's when it really counted.  Once you've caught your breath, you might want to go to the hospital to be with the rest of the family.  You don't have to go in if it's too tough.  Been there - it sucks.  Hugs from the Tart.
