Well, I'm sure I'm not doing anything, so I'll try.  I just have to find sponsors, which will be tough...

Oh I am SO gonna do that...  Wonder what the goodies are!

Sounds like fun, but I don't live near Chicago, and even if I did, I'll be in Bermuda that week.

Just wanted to say...

It was super awesome!!  I came home with lots of prezzies (a vamp Xander action figure)- and I won the Slayer trivia thingy (in which I won a replica of the library).

And there was a silent auction, and I was losing horribly to this guy.  It was for a signed JM photo and an Angel and Spike action figures (in Hawaiian shirts).  So the guy asks what did I want specifically, and told him the photo, and he said he only wanted the figures, and said that if I'd stop bidding, he'd give it to me, just like that.

He did!

I'm soooooo super cited right now, I don't know what to do!

Oh yeah, hope a convention comes to Chicago that James can attend...

Also sorry- really not gloating, but no one else (well, not the people I know in RL) can really appreciate what any of this means to me.

You're not gloating, Scarlet.  It's great that we can post our squees here since most of us don't have many people to gush to in RL.  If I still lived in MI, then I could have driven to Chicago for it.  But if I didn't live in CT, I wouldn't have been able to go to Fangoria :-P  Can't win everything...

Convention in November?!  When?  Where?  What? Please tell me everything... Will James be there?  Oh god, please say yes... That's my birthday month.

As of right now, Nicholas Brendan is the only Buffy/Angel alum scheduled to appear, but it's still early yet. It'd be a good appearance for James, since the con is focused on Buffy/Angel, Smallville, and Supernatural, and he's done 3 out of 4!

*drools* Oh please, E... where are you getting the info?  What's the date?  The venue?  Oh, this could be a kick ass birthday!!
