Does anyone know of any Feral Spike fics?  I'm really in the mood for one.  I know they exist, just don't remember where.  Like a fic where for some reason spike has gone all feral and is all growly with buffy but not in a bad way and she doesn't know quite how to react to him.

heh i'm right there with you.  there's this one I absolutely love where he calls people by their hair color and buffy he knows as "gold" for a long time.  I just can't remember the name of the fic.

I know that if you go to The Crypt or FanFiction.Net and look for the author SquirlyforSpike you will find her story "The Demon Within". It is a WIP but so far she has always finished her stories. I do not know if it will be Spuffy or not since she often pairs Spike with whoever. She's got Spike paired with Faith, Fred, Buffy, and Joyce.(one of the best Spike/Joyce stories I've read) Either way it's definatley worth a read.

I've been reading The Demon Within. Not sure if it's going to be Spuffy...she hasn't declared it, and Buffy's fairly mean so far....but it could go that way, definitely. There's no Spike pairing in it at the moment, other than helpers for his recovery. I talked to her a while ago, and she's definitely still working on it.

There are a couple good feral fics and some that just use it in passing. Thought I'd list some because I usually forget the titles and searching for one is so difficult.  Alright:

    Maryperk wrote a short that involves a small section where Spike turns into a feral demon in the dimension Pylea for a chapter, called "Pylea or Bust!"

    Passionfish has a short WIP with some great smut that's a lot more interesting than I'm making it sound, called "Split Personalities".

    "Becoming Undone" has been mentioned a few times, but it's so great I have to re-say it. Unfortunately, it's still a WIP but the feral part has a beginning, middle, end, smut, and plot

     "Blood of My Blood" by Blood Faerie has a great plot involving a feral Spike taking care of his 'mate' Buffy before the plot thickens and Spike gets his snark back.

     In "Because He Needs Me" Spike is injured to a horrible degree and his mind works in a more animal way, though I don't know if he could be called a feral demon. If you're not afraid of serious angst it's worth a read.    

Good luck to anyone who wants to read any of these; they're a pretty wide variety from PWP to in-depth stories but they're all worth the time to take a look at them!

Holly's "The Other Side of Midnight" features a feral Spike for most of the story. It's set post-NFA, Spike can't speak, and doesn't recognize Buffy. He's a bit viscious at first, but soon they learn to communicate without words. It's a lovely read.
