im up for a good cry any fics you all recommend that will make me cry but has a happy ending...

If you want a real 'bawl your eyes out' type cry I'd suggest Into the Light by Jen (link is in my comment on the other thread) as for the ending...um...'happy' is relative. LOL

The only fic that has made me cry to date is "Every December Sky" by doyle_sb4 (available on LiveJournal). Can't guarantee a happy ending, though.

I'm a guy who has never cried from reading any fic, but both of Urizen's fics have made me bawl. Jesus Christ what a great author.

Ah, can't argue with Lizerrbeathan,  with Adieu, A Dew, I Do. Awesome!  Also, Anaross does a wonderful job with angst, and usually manages to squeeze a happy ending out of it.  As does CousinJean.

To me, angst is something that brings a tear to my eye or a lump to my throat.  And it can occur in the midst of fic that has a happy ending, or a heartbreaking one.

One word. Eurydice. Wow that Author can combine romance, angst, drama, and the perfect amount of smut into every single one of her fics. They are all quite lengthy though, but are all definitely worth the read :)

I also recommend anaross - not only a great story, but you will also have some very fine study of poetry analysis within her work as well - two great things for the price of one
