Once a Vampire Groupie... by slaymesoftly Jags 02/26/2012 06:35 am Five very nice Thank you. well done, love. thank you. wouldn't mind seeing anita in action again. Anita seems to have been a hit with a lot of readers. lol I'm glad you liked her too. Thanks for reading. You've given another fabulous story yet again. Thanks so much! Thank you so much for reading and commenting. :) LCF 07/18/2009 08:47 pm Five And another glorious work by the Master of Spuffy, comes to a close..! Hm..! See lots of potential for Anita the Slayer, (Level-headed & realistic, that one.) Should there be a tri-fecta, (~prepares yet another bribe~) perhaps a bit more of her..? (who knows? maybe she'll even get her own vampire - Something tells me she'll end up as fertilizer if she makes a play for Spike). Speaking of - Leave it to the Big Bad to point out the olbvious: Like Slayers, Watchers need to be made of sterner stuff! And do they thank him for this very accurate observation..? NO! They contemplate their odds of survival if they dust him! (~BOO! I say to that! BOO!! - but oh, so realistic!) Yes - another fine addition to your excellent body of work. Bravo. LCF Hee! Thank you. Yes, it's possible Anita may need to be revisited. She could be fun... Awwww so sweet seeing them as a real couple there at the end, going home. All Spike has ever wanted there. His remark to Anita was so on the money character wise too....he talks a good game about other women and is a natural flirt but his heart and parts belong to Buffy and only her. Yup, I doubt even saving the whole world would give Spike a pass in the eyes of many of the Slayers even some who know him (Kennedy never seemed the type to ever give credit where due). I can well imagine this reaction and am so happy there was at least a couple sensible girls to speak up. He earned that at the very least and long before this battle. The nervous Watcher is another thing that they need to address in future. No doubt that would be the case....too few and not properly steeled for the job! Dangerous thing released with that spell. Excellent tie up to an enjoyable story. Kathleen Thank you, Kathleen. I'm so pleased you thought so. :) 07/18/2009 06:26 pm Five "Those blood-thirsty little bints downstairs are arguing how mad you'd be if they dusted me!" I really appreciate your way of sometimes making Buffy get it right and sometimes Spike. By the strokes of your pen, they are true partners. " They come from homes where everybody's good all the time...bad boys scare them." Watch out, Anita! Buffy does not have the most clement of personalities. You flirt with her Vampire & you might "retire" early. Slay, you have to write another story set in this 'verse - either that or lease Anita to someone. She is fun. *nods* Anita does have possibilities - I suppose I could revisit this verse and write something that was Anita-centered. That's an interesting idea, actually. Thanks! It was interesting to see the rivalries multiple slayers would lead too, some real charmers there!! LOL Well, if we learned nothing from the Potentials, it's that they can't all get along all the time. :) Thanks for reading. very good read, enjoyed the chapter, thank you. I'm glad you did - thanks. Buffy Convert 07/18/2009 06:02 pm Four "Looks like Mother Nature thout I needed a little boost." Absolutely delightful! Hee! Thanks. Glad it didn't squick you out. That went so smoothly! Hope the big mouths have learned their lesson now. I wouldn't count on it....:) Thanks for reading. LCF 07/17/2009 08:38 pm Four Oh, the joys of righteous vengeance! Dora (& the baby slayers) get to see first hand why Spike is called The Big Bad, (that's 3 for Spike, yes..?) They also find out what happens to anyone stupid enough to piss off Buffy! (And as for Buffy's..? ~ahem~ woes, shall we say..? No way in HELL Spike's letting that go! ;-} ) Again, I say, you are the Master of Spuffy. (Would I be out of line in suggesting {or begging} for a trifecta in this series..? ~discreetly offers bribe~ just asking...) LCF LOL Thank you so much for the praise. I kind of doubt there will be more, although one of my betas also pointed out that there could be more stories set in this "verse". We'll see. I have nothing in mind ATM. “Chaos, mayhem, things that go boom. What’s not to like?” “You are such a guy sometimes.” Oh so true! Why they love the boom boom I'll never understand LOL. YAY they have gotten rid of Dora and Chanrelle and Buffy has gotten a bit of vengeance on for that matter. Baby Slayers take note ... you do not mess with this pair or try to separate them! Nicely written action sequences, just enough detail to make it visual. Nice vampire domestic situation LOL.....you know Spike would cajole his way into THAT arrangement. Nice way to wake up too. Lovely in every way. Kathleen Thank you. I'm so glad you liked it! Buffy Convert 07/18/2009 05:39 pm Three "You're going to blow up the nest?" His eyes lit up with a male's interest in making things go boom that doesn't seem to fade no matter how old or what species the male happened to be." Great stuff Thank you! time of change 07/04/2009 11:22 pm Three Neat! Nice to see a sequel to the original story. Thanks. I hope you enjoy it. :) Looking forward to more... More as soon as I get it to and from the betas. :) Thanks for reading. That was a smashing fight, and nice to see Buffy keeping her cool with Spike. She has grown up. Let's hope the slayerettes make a start in that direction! Let's hope... Thanks for reading! Ahhhhh methinks a fire is on the way. Since Anne/Chantrelle was so idiotic as to seal the way into the sewers they would be trapped. The whole idea of a turned Slayer is scary. I can imagine Spike being unnerved and excited at the same time LOL. Really I doubt there would be enough adults to deal with the terror Buffy unleashed with that empowerment spell that made all those Slayers. Just not practical in the least! Lovely update. Kathleen Thank you, sweetie. It remains to be seen if she was as dumb as we think...:) 07/18/2009 05:24 pm Two "Don't be an ass," she said. "But I'm so bloody good at it", he replied. Love your dialogue. It's so true to form - only better, somehow. "These aren't animals you're fighting. They're demons, with all the memories and skills they had when they were human." I'm glad you corredted the impressions some of the younger Slayers had that homeless equels unintelligent. Thank you. I'm so glad you liked the dialogue. *nods* people forget that homeless people are people...with former lives that may have been very different. very good read, thank you. spike just might his third slayer. We can hope so - the alternative would be very bad! Loving this buildup for justified vengeance. Thanks. I hope you continue to like it. A good pulverising of all upstarts doesn't hurt! LOL Kind of makes her point, doesn't it? LCF 07/03/2009 04:29 am Two HA! Silly children! (that 'll teach 'em why listening to Buffy is of the good!) So! The Rookies went & got themselves a real bloody nose. And as for Dora the Slayer vamp..? Sounds like Spike's about to bag his third slayer! Great stuff! (but it's you so, hey! Kinda expected. ;-} ) Eagerly awaiting more! LCF *blushes again* Thank you. Yeah, kind of a harsh lesson, but some people need to learn the hard way... What an exciting chapter! I'm on pins and needles - more soon, please. Thank you. More as soon as I get it back from my betas. :) Buffy Convert 07/18/2009 04:57 pm One "Fools rush in where angels fear to tread". or demons, as the case may be. Good dialogue between Spike & Buffy, enjoyed their bantering. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading. reread "Lovers and Lethe" and realized that i first read the tale when i did not comment on the fine stories i was reading. please accept my apology and my thanks for a very good read. obviously becky and her companions do not watch teen slasher fics. this is not going to go well. Thanks for the belated review. LOL And yes, Becky and Co. have not watched enough movies - clearly! This was an unexpected treat! And isn't Becky a sweetheart! I hope you enjoy it. And yeah, Becky's a little too full of herself. Bad move on Becky's part I'm guessing. Looking forward to more! Good guess. :) Silver81 07/02/2009 08:19 am One Very nice to find a new story from one of the "Master" spuffy writers! You do it, and you do it well. Thank you! Thank you. What a lovely thing to say. :) LCF 07/02/2009 06:15 am One Looks like you've got yet another winner to add to your vast array of Spuffy greatness! The dialog's sharp, and the tension (re: Chantrelle, AND the Baby slayers...) is pitch perfect, (as if you could do it any other way). As always, you prove that you alone, are the Master of Spuffy. Eagerly awaiting more. LCF Thank you very much. *blushes* I hope you enjoy the rest of it. Jelly 07/02/2009 05:11 am One I love the follow up to L&L, though I must admit, the girls have me *facepalm*ing... I look forward to what's next! Uh, yeah. That's the kind of thing that can happen when you send teenagers out with superpowers and not much training. *alas* Sometimes they get a bit full of themselves. Could come back to bite them on the ass... 07/02/2009 04:09 am One Yeah, Becky. This will end well. I really like the beginning of showing the mature Buffy and Spike happy together, but not ignoring what they'd been through. The new slayers also seem very realistic and I can't wait to see them in over their heads, though I hope none die. Looking forward to the next chapter. Next chapter coming up. I'm glad you enjoyed the first one. :) | |||
