would have liked to see this with dialogue rather than just as a reportage... interesting idea.

Everybody is so tentative and patient in this. Even Spike! I enjoyed the interior, thoughtful quality.

by the end, they're both choked up and so hormonal that she wonders wryly if Spike thinks he's pregnant, too

Heh. Just you wait, Buffy. Emotion is Spike's stock in trade.

I suspect that Buffy would have been pretty angry about Angel's deception and I'd have liked to see that explored a bit. I can see how Spike's being there, utterly at her service, whether she likes it or not (she does) would win her over, but some negative emotion toward Angel would make a more complete picture of her decision. Which, naturally, I believe is the right one.

The beginning was quite good, and I hadn't anticipated the twist with Angel, but I am certain that if Buffy got to have a kid with him, she wouldn't give it up for Spike, and because of that I'm just not loving this, You do have potential with your style though, so all-in-all it's a good piece.

This was really good! Many "Awwwww!" moments. I love baby stories.

For a bit, I was wondering if it was going to have this happy bit at the end.  Glorious!!

I usually skip one shots, but I'm so glad I took the chance.  I really enjoyed your take on all the "what if's" nice... very nice.

Thank you for sharing.  Now, I'm off to see if you've written any thing else.

I just wished that she told Angel to go in the first place.  But she got a chance to really miss Spike and realize that he was it for her.  Loved that she named her son Williams
