A lovely jaunt.  You did a great job of straddling the irritation and solace that Buffy and Spike experience in their relationship.  So very unique to put them back into tudor england with Shakespeare.  Thanks for your story.

I really enjoyed your portrayal of Queen Elizabeth, her interaction with Spike was fun. The Cressida, and Sir Toby twist was a nice surprise. Loved the closing line of the chapter, Spike leaving his mark on Shakespeare's work was absolutely awesome. Great update! :D

Perhaps Marie will be granted court with her Majesty or made guardian for her, something better then living with her watcher. Wow, they were all there, Liam and Drusilla's descendants, but that would mean that Cressida didn't make to Virginia since Dru's family was from England, unless she was her direct descendant. Hoping Spike poketed the cross somehow. That would be funny. Thanks for the wonderful read.

I loved the connection of Cressida and Sir Toby. Buffy’s advice and goodbye to Maria was sweet. I enjoyed the lines from and references to different plays. I have really enjoyed reading this, thanks.

Spike’s joy at being in the presence of Will was so sweet. I loved the insight Maria has towards Travers and that she filled Spike in on the spell.

Of course you do know that the real author of the plays was a woman? Really, I can't see how you can wrap this all up in only one more chapter.

Treachery must be ingrained in the Travers' genes. What harm could it do if they knew? She's not going to give up or try and change anything. Oh there's only one more chapter? It must be a long one, alot of things to happen and what their relationship will be upon return.Sorry to see this end already, it's just begun. Great read, thanks.

Very atmospheric - love all the neat historical details. It's so sweet that Spike's in seventh heaven being there with William Shakespeare. I guess we all knew that there was bad blood in that Travers family. Looking forward to the next chapter.

What an interesting concept. I love how Buffy asked for more time from Spike to figure things out and then they are transported back in time with time standing still for them in there normal time.

Interesting start. Looking forward to the rest of it. Is there some automatic translator thingie working here re language? Just finished reading Timeline(Michael Crichton) set in the 14th century and they spoke Occitan, a mixture of French and English. Did the language change that drastically in the 200 years? The more I think about it, it must have sounded drastically different especially for Buffy.

You can smell the privy – and the sewage in the streets. Unwashed bodies, rotting garbage, the smoke from a thousand chimneys. Tudor London, pet. - Ahh the age of manure. Wasn't so great in Spike's day either.
