A TOTALLY RANDOM OCCURRENCE by Herself Rae 04/20/2012 06:40 am Complete in one part
I do not view this as out of character at all. If you are not moved enough to grow after watching someone you know you have some feeling for, and realize you love at the very last second, burn from the inside out...then you are not a true human being. I honestly believe that the shock of seeing Spike die in the Hellmouth would have forced Buffy to realize he truly loved her and truly wanted to be good for her. (excuse my run on sentence) I also believe Buffy would not have said she loved him unless she meant it. Spikestussi 01/05/2009 11:04 pm Complete in one part I am pretty sure I reviewed this story before on another site. But it's worth repeating- This is my all time favorite Spuffy. I must have read it a dozen times and it breaks my heart every time. It's hot beyond all reason,it makes me cry and feel happy that sometimes things just happen. I have read all of your fiction that I have been able to find and you have written nothing that I didn't enjoy. Thanks so much. Can't remember if I reviewed, sorry. So I'll just review again(maybe?) I liked the story. Most stories have Buffy getting all angry and then Spike feeling all guilty, yours didn't. Um men do not like fingers in their ass unless their gay? I have to tell you, this is one of my favorite fics! I love Buffy's unwavering certainty and Spike's acceptance of it. You capture their voices so well! Thanks for sharing your talents! Cas 07/10/2007 04:24 pm Complete in one part Liked everything about the story, except possibly the randomness, and no, I did not think it OCC for Buffy to throw away her ring and change her life for Spike. Hell, I'd do it in a heartbeat and I never even met the guy! a very, very good read. thank you. One of the best fics I've read. I love your Buffy reaction to everything. You did very well with Spike suggesting that she go back to Derek and her saying "Don't be stupid." That is the way Spuffy should be. *sigh* This made me so happy. And you even mentioned Dawn with Xander. I always thought someone should get them together in a story. Too bad you didn't go on to have a reunion with them. Sequel? Hey, just an idea. Very emotional, very honest, very hot. I'm not going to quibble about the whole thing, as I know someone who dumped her fiancee and ran off and married someone she had met two days before. When he died, they had been married 34 years. It does happen. I was thinking of the original film of THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, where Janet Leigh ditches her fiancee after 1 conversation with Frank Sinatra on the NY-bound train. | |||
