Lovely to see a continuation of this story; I've always been mournful at the thought it might have been abandoned. Why do I have the feeling that Spike (and maybe Angel and Christian) will have Silas distracted long enough for Buffy to be able to truly end the attempted Mating?

It was so great to see an update for this story. I had enjoyed the story and this chapter was fantastic, I found myself holding my breath hoping that Christian's plan would work. I am looking forward to reading the future updates.
